Time is a thief and before we know it our sweet swaddled baby is getting ready to go to preschool or some type of daycare. We all wonder- “What do they need to know?” before starting school. These are a few activities you can be working on at home: shapes, colors, number sense (knowing that the number 5 represents 5 items), letters and their sounds, fine motor skills, simple comprehension of stories read aloud.
