Say please and thank you!
Please share!
Please clean up and help each other!
These are all things we say to our kids every day. We have a few books and resources below that will help you in this daily journey to raise our little ones with good manners!
Llama Llama Time to Share by Anne Dewdney
With little ones this is a good depiction of sharing. This is something that is on all of our minds as our kids have been out of school or daycare. Great pictures and story line by a great author!
Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein
A hilarious read about a chicken who CANNOT be quiet and stop interrupting. My little kids at home and my big kids at school belly laugh when I read and act this one out. A good lesson to discuss for us all!
What Does it Mean to be Kind? By Rana DiOrio
A very sweet book that illustrates and talks about what it means to be kind at school and out in the big world. Clear examples and illustrations help your child understand and will lead to some great conversations.
I have tried these next two products out at home and can genuinely say that I LOVE them!!! They have worked well and are kid approved and tested!
Thank you notes postcards for kids
We all want our children to be thankful for any and all gifts they receive. Maybe you need to send a family member, friend, or your child’s teacher a thank you card. These are great and very kid-friendly! My kids loved the drawing/coloring part! I had the fill in the blank option one for my little ones but this post card option from this company looks great too!
A weekly chart for kids
A weekly chart that has all the important daily check boxes, space for you to add more, and a weekly goal area! We have enjoyed this and literally just stick on the fridge. Also, I love the part that encourages acts of kindness and good manners too. Go kids go!
