Mo Willems is a wonderfully talented author who writes with a flare that you will appreciate as a parent who is reading a lot of books to your children. Our kids LOVE reading the books too because they are so funny!
First up is Knuffle Bunny. Are your little ones attached to some sort of blanket or lovie toy? Well, so is the main character Trixie in this hilarious book that even parents can relate to. Dad takes Trixie on an errand and they learn a lesson together! Everyone will enjoy this read aloud.
Next, a hilarious series of Elephant and Piggie. We have the Elephant and Piggie Biggie! Book because it is a hardcover book and has 5 of the little books in one. It also looks nice on the shelf. There are several other smaller paperback options if you need for a little gift or to “try out” the series.

Finally, the first book that introduced us to Mo Willems as an author- Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! A funny tale that kids enjoy because that silly pigeon is up to no good trying to drive! Prepare for some belly laughs! If you like it there are several other Pigeon books to love.
